Who is Banteux?
Hello all, my name is Ursula Banteux and I am a “fourth-year-freshman”–basically, in my senior year here at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and I decided I needed a “major” change. I was at one time a Comparative Literature and English double major. Now, however, I am an Ecology and Geology double major looking to get work in non-profits. My goal is to try to empower impoverished black neighborhoods to take financial and environmental charge of their neighborhoods–rather than letting corporate developers gentrify them to oblivion.
In any case, in addition to those loft ambitions, I am currently unemployed (broke!) living above a bar, mother moved up North as soon as I got to college,19-year-old sister still not in college, and one year ago I began a loving interracial relationship with a younger man.
